Brexit: Trading a new path

Brexit represents an unprecedented and likely very complex and difficult separation that may require the United Kingdom (UK) to completely renegotiate and restructure its trade relations with the European Union (EU), World Trade Organization (WTO), and key trading partners.

Prime Minister May’s announcement that the UK would submit its notice of withdrawal under Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty by the end of March provides some clarity on Brexit’s timing, but little detail on how the negotiations will unfold.
